Entry 0080
My anxiety has spiked, my brain feels chaotic, like I'm going off the rails (pun not intended), nervous system is a shaken up snow globe. When this happens, I find that it helps to exert some form of structure or control over the immediate future, such as by making a sequential todo list. I have a todo app that I use on Nextcloud called Decks, but it's just stuff that I intend to do at an arbitrary time. What I mean by a sequential todo list that helps me regain focus and control over the immediate future is a list of tasks that I would do in the order they are listed. These may include chores, self-care tasks, and also tasks from my Nextcloud Decks lists. But the important part is that they are realistic, completed in the order listed, and can be done in the span of the day.
Here is what I have for today:
- Go for a walk outside
- Take a shower
- Eat dinner
- Check if any dishes need to be done, and do them
- Shave
- Brush teeth (== brush teeth, floss, and rinse with mouthwash) @ 10:00 pm
