I listened to this Linux Unplugged podcast episode today. There were some clips from the recent Red Hat summit in Boston. They play a clip of the CEO of Red Hat talking up a storm about AI. The CEO made an analogy that seems to do a lot of heavy lifting regarding the claims about the quality of AI and how it will revolutionize open source. Talking about AI as if it's a super-power bestowed on developers. It disheartened me and turned me off, and now my goblin moral brain wants me to distance myself from anything under the Red Hat brim.
I've been using Fedora for a couple days now. I'm tired of constantly jumping ship. My goblin moral brain now urges me to install Debian again but Trixie with a Btrfs filesystem. Not sure what I'll do yet. I'm tapped out of tech spoons for today. I'm going to play Starfield.
